Live Oath-Taking Ceremony for Andhra Pradesh's New Chief Minister, Chandrababu Naidu: On Wednesday at 11.27 a.m., Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader N Chandrababu Naidu will take the oath of office as the new chief minister of Andhra Pradesh for a fourth term. The swearing-in event will be in Gannavaram, Krishna district, close to Kesarapalli IT Park. At a meeting on Tuesday in Vijayawada, Naidu was unanimously chosen as the National Democratic Alliance's Leader of the House following the nomination of K Pawan Kalyan, the leader of the JanaSena Party. Subsequently, representatives of the alliance comprising the TDP, BJP, and JanaSena met with Governor S Abdul Nazeer, thereby asserting their right to form the Andhra Pradesh administration.

Leading NDA figures anticipated to attend: The swearing-in ceremony is anticipated to be attended by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and other Union Ministers such as Jagat Prakash Nadda and Bandi Sanjay Kumar. Along with the TDP chairman, Naidu's son Nara Lokesh, JanaSena chief Pawan Kalyan, and senior party leader N Manohar are also expected to take an oath of office. According to NDA sources, Kalyan has been offered the position of deputy chief minister, PTI reported.

Results of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly Election: As members of the NDA, Naidu's TDP ran for office alongside Pawan Kalyan's JSP and the BJP in the state. In the Andhra Pradesh Assembly, the alliance won 164 out of 175 seats, a landslide victory. The JSP and BJP secured 21 and 8 seats, respectively, while the TDP secured 135 seats. Just before taking the oath of office as chief minister, Naidu announced a significant change: the new government will designate Amaravati the capital of Andhra Pradesh.
