BTS will get back together in a private setting in Seoul to commemorate Jin's discharge.

The musician BTS Jin's discharge from the military is scheduled to occur in only one day. The K-pop community is currently eagerly awaiting the idol's homecoming. After serving his time in the military since December 2022, Jin will be home in 18 months. In addition, he is the first member to be released from the military early, with others still serving out their terms. According to speculations, BTS members will all gather back together as Jin is let go as a way of showing their love and respect for the oldest members.

According to Koreaboo, the group will get together despite their continued military duty to commemorate Jin, the oldest member, coming home. Every member has submitted an application for a leave of absence. Due Korean security concerns, there won't be an official military discharge ceremony; instead, the K-pop trio will discreetly celebrate Jin's return in Seoul.

The group's original intention was to meet Jin in front of the military unit, but members' fears for their safety prevented this from happening. Jin will begin his schedule of events upon his discharge on June 12 and include a fan hug gathering with ARMY, the commemoration of BTS Festa 2024, the forthcoming 11th anniversary, and the release of his solo album later in the year.
