CRPF officers slain in combat with militants in Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir
Following the terrorists' firing from their hiding place in the forest, the police and paramilitary troops began a search and rescue operation.
A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) officer was slain on Wednesday during a search operation in the Kathua district's Kootah area when they ran across insurgents.
This occurs one day after a terror strike against a home in the Saida hamlet of the area resulted in the death of a militant in a shoot-out with security personnel.
