Actor Darshan Thoogudeepa of Kannada, who was detained in relation to the death of a fan, is probably going to have more problems after it was discovered that he was harboring an exotic bird, the bar-headed geese, illegally at his property in T Narsipura, Karnataka.

Darshan was the subject of a previous FIR; as he is currently being held by the police, the forest department may investigate the case once more.

"Those who have broken the law will face consequences. The problem dates back 1.5 years. The police are now reopening the case. Whatever person has broken the law, they will all face consequences. The matter will be looked upon by the forest department," he stated.

"For those found guilty, a chargesheet will be submitted. The Supreme Court and High Court of Karnataka are now handling hundreds of cases. There is questioning at every turn. We'll take action based on the findings of our investigation," he continued.
Darshan was arrested on June 11 along with his buddy and co-star Pavithra Gowda for their suspected roles in the murder of Darshan's ardent admirer Renukaswamy.
