For the third time in three days, militants attack an Army station in Doda, Jammu and Kashmir.

The third terror incident in the Union Territory in the last three days occurred on Tuesday night when a confrontation between security personnel and terrorists occurred in Jammu and Kashmir's Doda area.

The conflict started when gunfire broke out at a police and 4 Rashtriya Rifles checkpoint in the Chatergala neighborhood of Doda, causing the security guards to counterattack.
Anand Jain, an additional director general of police, has stated that there is still gunfire going on.

This comes after a devastating event that happened on Sunday in the Reasi area. Terrorists attacked a bus that was transporting pilgrims from the Shiv Khori temple to Katra. The bus went off the road and plunged into a deep gorge, killing nine people and injuring forty-one more.

One of the attackers' sketches has been made public by the J&K Police, who have also declared a reward of Rs 20 lakh for any information that leads to his detention.

According to officials, there are eleven security teams on the ground and a multidirectional cordon surrounding the Ranso-Poni-Treyath belt as part of the extensive efforts to locate the militants.

Meanwhile, a militant was slain in a clash with the authorities on Tuesday night following an attack at a residence in J&K’s Saida village, Kathua district.
