Karnataka: A bus accident in Haveri claimed 13 lives

Haveri: A terrible tragedy that happened early on Friday morning resulted in at least 13 fatalities and four injuries. According to the police, the collision happened on Friday at 3.45 a.m. on NH 48 at Gundenahalli Cross in the Haveri district. It is reported that Shivamogga district is home to all of the victims.

The TT was traveling from the Shivamogga district's Yemehatti Village to the Chincholli Mayamma Temple. Eleven people died instantly at the spot as a result of the incident. Two additional people were taken to Haveri Government Hospital but died from their wounds. Parusharam (45), Bhagya (40), Nagesh (50), Vishalakshi (40), Punnya (50), Manjula Bai (62), Adarsh (23), Manasa (24), Roopa (40), Manjula (50), and two children—one aged four and the other aged six—have been identified as the deceased. Two of the four injured passengers are in critical condition in the intensive care unit despite having survived the incident. The deceased people's bodies have been moved into the mortuary. The accident's cause is being looked at by the authorities.
