The opening of Param Vir Chakra Park in Secunderabad, Telangana

Hyderabad: On Saturday, the recently created Param Vir Chakra Park in Secunderabad Cantonment was officially opened by Subedar Major Sanjay Kumar, Param Vir Chakra (PVC). The General Officer Commanding, Telangana and Andhra Sub Area, along with other distinguished dignitaries, commanders, and soldiers honored the occasion. Veterans of the Kargil and 1971 Wars also attended. The Param Vir Chakra Park honors the recipients of the Param Vir Chakra for their extraordinary bravery and selflessness. The main feature of the park is a painting that shows the Indian Armed Forces accepting the Pakistani Army by signing the Instrument of Accession on December 16, 1971. Every PVC awardee's valiant deeds are put on display at the park.
