Hyderabad: The concessional bus passes for recognized journalists in the State now have a longer validity period thanks to the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC).

The current bus pass's validity ends on June 30. The Telangana Department of Information and Public Relations has just issued an order extending the deadline for journalists to get accreditation cards by three months, until September 30.

The TGSRTC has so delayed the bus pass deadline by three months.

Applications for discounted bus passes for journalists with accreditation are being accepted as of June 25.

The TGSRTC officials advised journalists to apply for these extended bus tickets by clicking on this link: https://tgsrtcpass.com/journalist.do?category=Fresh.

In addition to providing the journalists' personal information in the applications, a photo and their accreditation cards need to be submitted. Additionally, a bus pass collection center needs to be chosen.

After the Information and Public Relations Department verifies these applications online, TGSRTC will provide bus permits to journalists.
