Hyderabad: At around 3:40 p.m. on Monday, a solvent leak caused a large fire to break out at a Hetero Pharma plant in Kazipally, Sangareddy district. Nobody was hurt. There were no personnel there when the fire broke out in an open area. Additional district fire officer P.A. Sudarshan Patencheru stated that after two fire tenders were dispatched to the scene, the pharmaceutical company's fire tenders had already begun fighting the fire. At 7:00 p.m., the fire was put out. An investigation has been launched by police and fire officials. This is the Sangareddy district's second fire incident. At Jinnaram Mandal's Bonthapally industrial sector, a scrap godown caught fire on May 25. The fire caused chemical drums to burst.
