Hyderabad: Owing to a health issue, Congresswoman Sonia Gandhi will not be participating in the Telangana Formation Day festivities on June 2. On June 2, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy planned a grand celebration of Telangana Formation Day. He even made a special invitation for Sonia Gandhi to attend the festivities by flying to New Delhi. He had already promised to invite her and congratulate her at the function. The Congress leaders in Telangana are now hoping that Sonia's son Rahul Gandhi will attend the event as she has not shown up for the festivities.
