A Karnataka contractor commits suicide as a result of KRIDL not paying his invoices.

Davangere (Karnataka): According to police, a 48-year-old contractor committed himself on Saturday when his bills for services he completed for a state government agency were reportedly not cleared. On May 27, PS Goudar made the drastic decision to end his life and left behind a suicide note in which he blamed the Karnataka Rural Infrastructure Development Limited (KRIDL) and his brothers among his family members. The victim claimed in his suicide note that the issue of ancestral property was a source of mental distress for him because of his family members. Financial strain was also brought on by the failure to pay invoices for the work he finished on the grounds of the Agriculture department at Santebennur in Channagiri taluk, which was given to him by KRIDL the previous year.
