Actor Taha Shah of Heeramandi recalls how devastated he was to learn that Karan Johar had rejected him from an audition.

Before his Bollywood audition, Taha Shah received a "heartbreaking" call: "Sorry, Karan Johar doesn't want to see you."

The actor Taha Shah Badussha, who was most recently spotted in Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, talked about landing a part in a YRF production more than ten years ago. However, before to that, he was on the verge of having an audition with Karan Johar; however, his hopes were dashed at the last second. Taha debuted as an actor in the movie Luv Ka the End before assuming the role of Tajdar Baloch in the Netflix series.

The actor discussed his near-miss with Dharma Productions in an interview with Social Kandura. A few years later, after pursuing Karan Johar's car on the street, he eventually worked with them. "After trying for an audition in Mumbai for five or six months," he added, Shanoo Sharma called.
