Following a bomb threat, an IndiGo flight from Chennai to Mumbai makes an emergency landing.

Hyderabad: On Saturday, an IndiGo aircraft traveling from Chennai to Mumbai had to make an emergency landing at Mumbai Airport due to a bomb threat. "A bomb threat was received by IndiGo aircraft 6E 5314, which was traveling from Chennai to Mumbai. According to security agency rules, the crew followed protocol upon arrival in Mumbai and the aircraft was moved to an isolation bay," a press statement from IndiGo stated. "Every passenger has left the plane safely. The airplane is being inspected right now. The aircraft will be repositioned in the terminal area once all security procedures have been completed, according to the airline statement. This week, there have been two bomb threats against flights operated by IndiGo. At the Delhi airport on Tuesday, an IndiGo flight headed for Varanasi got a bomb threat; however, a  search of the aircraft found it to be a hoax.
