Ranoj Pegu of Assam requests that NTA open more CUET exam locations in Barak Valley.

The ministry of education for Assam asks for more CUET testing locations in Barak Valley. Currently, students from the Barak Valley can only take the CUET exam at one location in Silchar. From May 21 to May 24, CUET UG 2024 tests are being administered in more than 600 centers located in 300 cities. In a letter to the National Testing Agency (NTA), Assam's Minister of Education, Ranoj Pegu, asked for more testing locations in the Barak Valley for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). Three districts make up Assam's Barak Valley: Hailakandi, Karimganj, and Cachar. These districts' colleges are all associated with Silchar, India's Assam University. But in Silchar, there is just one CUET exam location.
