Delhi, New: Elon Musk, the CEO of SpaceX, stated on Wednesday that Starlink, the satellite internet service, is currently available in 100 countries.

"Starlink is accessible in 100 countries right now!" Musk mentioned this in an X post.

Starlink said on X that this was the 100th nation, territory, or other market in the world to have access to their high-speed, low-latency internet.

After a year-long series of technical examinations that started in 2023, the National Communications Authority (NATCA) of Sierra Leone authorized Starlink's license.

It was described as a "pivotal step towards the government's goal of universal connectivity and educational transformation" by Chief Minister David Moinina Sengeh.

The business received Sri Lankan approval last week to begin the satellite service.

The inauguration "will revolutionize our connectivity, opening up new horizons, especially for our youth," according to President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
