On Thursday, Manmohan Singh, the former prime minister, argued that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was using "hateful, unparliamentary terms to target either a specific section of society or opposition."
Singh appealed to Punjabi voters in a letter sent ahead of the seventh round of the Lok Sabha elections on June 1 to make sure that democracy and our Constitution are shielded from the constant attacks of a tyrannical regime that wants to impose tyranny in India. Election day is fast approaching.
