With his eagerly awaited web series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali made his foray into the over-the-top entertainment industry. The focus the performance placed on his niece Sharmin Segal, who plays Alamzeb in the golden series, was one unanticipated result.
