Swara Bhasker: "Kangana justified violence; people are dying in this country."

According to actor Swara Bhasker, using violence is never justified and has to be avoided. However, she was compelled to draw attention to the stark irony of actor and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut being struck by a CISF constable when she had previously used her social media channels to defend violence on behalf of herself. At the Chandigarh airport, Kangana was recently smacked by a CISF constable, allegedly as a result of her previous, inflammatory remarks regarding the farmers' protests. Swara was questioned about the event in an interview with Connect Cine, particularly in light of Kangana's remarks thereafter regarding the lack of support she had received from the film business.

Speaking about the June 6 incident, Swara Bhasker stated, "Any reasonable person would say that whatever happened with Kangana was wrong." "No one will defend the acts of violence or assault that Kangana endured. Therefore, the events involving her were incorrect and shouldn't have occurred. Assaulting someone is wrong. People were telling Kangana's right-wing fans that since they are the ones who defend lynching, they shouldn't be raising this issue.
