Hyderabad: The Petbasheerabad police filed a complaint alleging that former minister and MLA Ch Malla Reddy and his son-in-law, himself an MLA, attempted to take possession of a software employee's land.
According to officials, the case against the two MLAs is outdated and has not progressed.
Previously, the police filed a complaint against Malla Reddy, Rajasekhar Reddy, and others for allegedly stealing 32 guntas of land and attempting to destroy buildings on it. This was in response to a complaint made by a S. Srinivas Reddy.
Police reported that both sides to the dispute had cases and countercases filed against them.
